FROM 22 AUGUST 2011, DUE TO CHANGES IMPLEMENTED THROUGH THE OFFICE OF LIQUOR GAMING & RACING, THE COST TO COMPLETE YOUR RCG HAS GONE UP WITH THE INTRODUCTION OF PHOTO ID CARDS. THESE CARDS WILL LAST 5 YEARS. IF YOU COMPLETED YOUR RCG before this date your certificate will still be valid.
PAY $85 (normally $100) WHEN YOU PRE-PAY FOR COURSES CONDUCTED IN OUR CITY ROOMS OR $90 (normally $105) PRE-PAID FOR CLASSES IN CAMPBELLTOWN & MIRANDA. PLEASE NOTE, THESE RATES WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR A LIMITED PERIOD.
The RCG course (Responsible Conduct of Gambling) involves the successful completion of the unit:
Provide Responsible Gambling Services SITHGAM006A from the Tourism, Hospitality and Events Training Package SIT07.
This RCG NSW course became mandatory from 31 December 2001 for the staff of all gaming venues (NSW) and is recognised under the Australian Quality Training Framework, VETAB (NSW) & the previously the LAB. The new Casino, Liquor, Gaming Control Authority (NSW) has replaced the Liquor Administration Board (LAB) 1 July 2008.

Assessment & completion standard: Theory & written
Identify & assist potential problem gamblers / provide assistance to family & friends / voluntary self exclusion of problem gamblers. Upon successful completion of the RCG course, participants receive a Statement of Attainment. From 22 August 2011 students will also receive an interim certificate from the Office of Liquor Gaming & Racing (OLGR) to comply with the new regulations. The interim certificate will last 60 days (you can use this certificate to start work straight away). You must present the interim certificate to your local post office with 100 points of identification. Your photo will be taken, verification will be forwarded to OLGR. OLGR will then issue your new photo ID card.
